MY APPROACH

If you asked anyone who knows me to describe me in one word, I am almost 100% certain that word would be “chill”. My laidback nature comes in handy during high stress environments like weddings. Don’t get me wrong, I am EXTREMELY organized and even type A at times, but I don’t sweat the small stuff! On your wedding day you can rest assured that I will be a calming presence throughout the day, even if things don’t go as planned. I strongly believe that a wedding is a once and a lifetime opportunity and I don’t want you to miss it by posing for photos for hours on end. As your photographer, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of my camera while still allowing you and your partner to savor the moment that you're in.

HI! I'M LAURA

Ever since I could remember I have been drawn to art that makes me feel. Song lyrics, poems, books, movies, photographs…if it makes my emotions come alive, I want to savor the feelings with every ounce of my empathetic soul! When I began my photography journey, I was instantly obsessed with taking photographs of people and it wasn’t long before I realized that love stories were my favorite stories to tell, so I dove head first into photographing couples in love, and later weddings and elopements.

My photography can be described as cinematic and moody, with a dreamy twist! I'm not interested in creating a false reality, I want to capture the real you, the raw and the messy because that is what truly makes your love story unique.
